The Lancaster School District is now enrolling for our CARES After School Program (it's free!). CARES offers students a nutritious snack, homework assistance, and both academic and recreational enrichment. It is available at the following school sites: Desert View, Discovery, El Dorado, Jack Northrop, Joshua, Lincoln, Linda Verde, Mariposa, Monte Vista, Sierra, and Sunnydale. Amargosa Creek Middle School is partnering with the American Red Cross to participate in a community service project called the Future Blood Donor Program to teach middle school students about blood donation, blood components and why local hospital patients need blood. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 1, 2016 at the Amargosa Creek MS Gym from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Support our students and school by donating blood and recruiting other blood donors.
